Hey Youtube, it’s ‘iCyU II’ here. And a lot of you have actually been asking me how I get my iPhone to be displayed on my desktop like cell. Also if you guys know how to do it and if I’ve already told you guys how to do it. Then some of you have actually been complaining that it just has a black screen as if it were locked like this. So I’m going to show you guys how to fix that, first what you have to though is go in your PC and you’re going to download it. I’m going to pretend like you don’t even know how to do this at all so go into your ‘internet browser’ whatever that may be and go to ‘Google’. Once in ‘Google’ type in ‘tight vnc’ now this is for the PC, now there are other ways to do it for the MAC, you can figure out what one you want to use for your MAC. Then basically just go to download and then just figure out why the download isn’t done. If you already have VNC on your device after that what we’re going to do is search for it and uninstall it like I already have VNC right here. ‘Modify’, ‘remove’, ‘confirm’. Okay so now my iPhone has finished re-stringing and now you have to go back into ‘Cydia’ because I’m going to show you how to get it and I’ll take away the rest of this video on my camera and then go to the manage tab at the bottom once it loads up. Go to sources and you’re going to have to add the source so it’s http://cydia.myrepospace.com/ratz96/, ‘ratz’ with a ‘z’ not an ‘s’, I’ll put it in an annotation, and I’m also going to put it in the description. So once you’ve added that you’re going to go into it and then scroll down all the way until you see this one right here ‘Veency’ fixed. This basically will install it, confirm and like I said if you guys get a black screen problem just follow this and it will work and even if you don’t get a black screen problem, this is just the best way to do it. And once it’s finished it’s going to ask you to re-spring. Okay, so it’s done re-springing and I’m just going to show you guys, going to go into ‘settings’ and I’m going to scroll down then go into ‘VNC’ and then enable it and some password and whatever you want. And then just on the computer in order to connect to it, just launch it up and then figure out your devices IP address and just by simply sliding over. And it says right there where it says ‘wifi’ IP address and just put the IP address in right here and then click a connection profile and then just click connect. And then we’re going to put in our password. And there you have it guys, also just a quick side note, ‘cydia’ is going to keep saying that it needs to be updated. So basically just remove the source and that should fix it and it won’t prompt you to update it any more. And also this tutorial was made possible by one Gel Berry though he told me how to do this and I have a link to his channel on my annotation and also in the description. TightVNC remotely controlling PC
I VNC’d into my remote machine, the machine is right next to me, but this is a proof of concept in terms of manipulating and application and hardware remotely. Now this is machine ‘.1’, this ‘mouse’ here and this is machine ‘.3’. Okay ‘.1’, ‘.3’, now I’m going to use the ‘.1’ machine to burn this ‘KNOPPIX’ CD here, I’m going to show you how I’m going to do that so I’m going to activate the start menu on the ‘.3’ machine, ‘Start’ and I’m going to use the ‘IPM recorder’ because the remote machine is a ‘T41’, ‘IBM T41’ and let’s see ‘IBM RecordNow’, ‘RecordNow’ and the other machine the ‘T41’ is set at 1028 so trying to keep as much screen loss away from you, going to click on burn image because the ‘iso’ was an image. Browse, let’s make sure it’s in the right location, yes it likes it where it is and insert a blank CD which I already have. I’m going to click burn and it looks like it’s going to work, give it a second, yeah it’s going to work so not only have I taken over the ‘mouse’ of the other machine the ‘.3’ machine, ‘.1’, ‘.3’, ‘.1’, ‘.3’. I have activated a remote process to burn CD. It’s not that, the remote machine is sitting right next to me but you can see the power of ‘TightVNC’ for network support and almost any environment. As well, note it is a serious security measure, security problem as well. Unscrupulous access via ‘TightVNC’ could spell great harm to any network. So ‘VNC’ it’s cool what I really liked to be able to do and if anybody knows how to do it is to be able to record this the ‘.3’ machine, the ‘.3’ machine as a ‘Linux’ device because I’m using demo studio. How To Use Tight VNC

Okay, Welcome to DCS, okay today I want to teach you how to use VNC since realvnc costs money we are going to use tightvnc. It’s just as good as realvnc but it’s free, it’s open source, it’s legal all that good stuff. So the first thing I want to do is run the program which you downloaded there will be a link (www.tightvnc.com) in the description on the right. Please Install it Yes, okay so TightVNC Server. You install this on the computer that you want to remote control. In this case I want to remote control this computer and the other one. So I recommend you to install just the Server and the Viewer, Next, okay (ticked – Assoicate.vnc files with TightVNC Viewer) Yes, looks good, alright. It’s done. Okay now this should be in your Start Menu. I don’t know why my Start Menu isn’t coming up. There we go, I don’t see TightVNC, okay here we go, we are going to launch the TightVNC Server. Okay here it is, alright so the first thing you would want to do is put the password, we’re going to make this password 123 and the View-only password, okay the Primary password let’s you control and do whatever you want the View-only password only let’s you look at the screen not control it but I’m going to make these passwords the same.
I’m going to uncheck (Remove desktop wallpaper) because I think it looks nice, Apply, OK, alright so see now what’s running down here. Okay, so, now you see that little pop up, when you roll the mouse over it, when you roll the mouse over your… it says 192.168.2.38, yours will of course be different than mine, but you got to remember that number. I guess now that this is installed and running let’s go to my…. okay this is my second computer. Alright so I’m on my second computer. Rather, Start, there’s, TightVNC, okay now instead of launching the server I want to launch the TightVNC viewer. Alright, so here we go it says New TightVNC Connection, so do you remember that number that was on the other computer, okay it was 192.168.2.38, Connect and it wants to know the password, nice to know that I haven’t set down…… that we actually know the password, it’s just 123, click OK to connect, hey like you see, look at that here’s the screen on the other computer, see here it shows the computer name, it shows all this good information and you can do all of these settings, if you want to scale the display a little bit okay so now the display is just fine I like this but not this small but it looks nice, so see you can click on the other computer but still on my computer it’s just running in a window, you can also transfer files all this good stuff so it’s not after you’ve typed in the password in click the little Save button, click on desktop you’re going to name this devins gateway, that’s the gateway to my computer Save it, just click Yes.
From now on when I close this and I want to get back to begin, look this little icon says devins gateway, you double click on it and it logs me in, isn’t that awesome?
